By visiting or shopping at TechDigital / this website, you accept the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

Detailed description of good and/or services
1. TechDigital is a business in the online retail industry that markets all types of digital electronic goods including (but not limited to) digital camera's, MP3 Players, laptops, etc.

2. TechDigital does not hold any stock whatsoever. All stock is specially sourced for our customers from the relevant manufacturer's or their authorised agents as orders are placed by customers on the TechDigital Online Store and / or over the telephone.

3. TechDigital also specialises in the speedy shipping of goods ordered to our customers.  All shipping costs are for the account of the customer.

Products, descriptions, images and prices are kept as up to date as possible, but may change from time to time without notice, due to improvements / changes in product(s) by the manufacturer. Techdigital will always provide the customer with the version of the product available at the time of purchase.

Errors and Omissions Excluded - Customers are advised to always check the product information on the manufacturer's website, usually provided in a link on our product pages, of which information will take preference over any information provided on the TechDigital Website.  Should there be any queries regarding discrepencies, then please e-mail sales@techdigital.co.za to query the matter.

* Free items included with main products will be subject to availability. There is normally only limited items of free stock available. Once stock has run out, the standard main item will be shipped.

Invitation to do business

The products and/or services which appear on the Techdigital website are displayed as an invitation to do business with TechDigital and allow you to make an offer to purchase the products and/or services to TechDigital.  Techdigital is a self service store and it the clients responsibility to ensure that the goods purchased are fully fit for purpose of purchase.

How do we save you money:
1. We dont hold stock, which means we dont need a big warehouse, which means we save a whole lotta money on Rent. This saving we pass onto our customers.

Only when TechDigital accepts your offer, receives payment, confirms pricing and availability at the relevant suppliers, and delivers the goods will an agreement of sale be transacted.

As per our suppliers price lists, all prices are subject to exchange rate fluctuations and may change without notice. Confirm pricing and stock availability with TechDigital's Sales Persons prior to placing your order.

TechDigital can cancel the sale at any time at TechDigital's absolute discretion.

Subject to availability and receipt of payment confirmed into our bank account, requests are usually processed within 5 working days and delivery confirmed by way of confirmation e-mail with tracking number.

All Shipping costs are for the account of the customer at all times.

* Delivery times cannot be guaranteed as we use external shipping companies for delivery.

Export restriction

The offering on this website is available to South African clients only.

Warranties

All items sold on the Techdigital Store come with the full manufacturer's warranty.
It is the, manufacturer's or its authorised agent in South Africa's, responsibility to honor the warranty, and any warranty issues are to taken up with them.
TechDigital does not provide any warranties on in its own capacity on any of the products sold on its store.

Please ensure that items returned on warranty are a manufacturing fault.
User abuse, and/or lightning damage is not covered by the warranty.
Should items be returned, and found to be a fault of user error/configuration/setup, then these will be billed as per our normal inhouse workshop rates @R250.00 ex. VAT per hour (min 1 hour charge), no exceptions.

All items returned for warranty to be accompanied by a copy of the invoice for the product being returned for warranty, with a detailed fault report on the back. A copy of this together with the faulty item is handed back into the manufacturer for repair / replacement.
All shipping / collection / delivery charges, of goods between TechDigital and the client, are for the clients account, which must be settled in full, prior to the repaired / replaced item being returned to the client.
Faulty Items that can be handed directly back to the manufacturer, clients will be notified accordingly, and may do so if they wish, subject to managements discretion.

Return and Refunds policy

The provision of goods and services by TechDigital is subject to availability.
TechDigital does not hold any stock whatosoever, and sources stock from various suppliers, around SA as orders are placed on the TechDigital Website.
The price loaded will be lowest from the different supplier price lists if the specific item is available from more than one supplier, however the stock may not always be available from the lowest price supplier, and in very, very rare cases, the prices listed on the price list incorrect.
If item(s) ordered are unavailable, alternate product suggestions will be made, and/ or, if the item(s) ordered have price updates, this will be notified as soon as humanly possible, and customer 's are a given the option of cancellation at this point.

It is the customers responsibility to ensure that the product ordered, or the alternative product recommended is fit for the purpose it is intended to be used for. Techdigital does not sell products for testing purposes.  There is plenty of information on products on our website, and additional information can be sourced from the manufacturer's website, as well as search engines such as google.co.za for reviews, and video sites such as Youyube.com for video reviews.

In cases of unavailability, and if alternate product suggestions are not suitable, TechDigital will refund the client in full.
Refunds are processed within 30 days.

Cancellation, and / or returns, of orders, by the client, if approved my management,  will attract a 15% administration / handling / re-stocking fee.
Returns and/or cancellations are only accepted on items that are unopened, still bearing the manufacturer's factory seal intact, no returns or swap-out will be issued if the seal is broken.
Returns and/or cancellations only accepted if the goods are returned (and reach TechDigital's premises) within 7 days of receiving the goods.
All Returns and Cancellation are subject to the manufacturer's returns policy, and also at the discretion of the management of TechDigital.

You will then recieve an e-mail outlining whether the Returns Request has been approved or not.
Only then do you send the items back to TechDigital.
No items will be accepted for return unless it is on our approved returns list.

Customer privacy policy
TechDigital shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa, Master Card, Diners or American Express credit cards or by bank transfer into the TechDigital bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.

Orders placed where the EFT method of payment is chosen on the product page, and then on check out paid for with a credit card, the amount of the transaction will automatically be converted to the credt card amount on the credit card, and shipped.
PS. The website is so designed that you have to choose either EFT or credit card on the product info page, before a item can be added to the shopping cart, so you cannot make a mistake here, unless intentional.

Credit card acquiring and security
Credit card transactions will be acquired for TechDigital by PayGate(Pty)Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for Standard Bank of South Africa. PayGate use SSL3 and no credit card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by TechDigital separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate's secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za

Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction Currency is ZAR (South African Rand).

Responsibility
TechDigital acts a middleman between suppliers / distributors of products in SA and those suppliers / distributors are responsible for the warranty of the products sold on this website.  TechDigital takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and TechDigital chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.

Variation
TechDigital may, in its sole discretion, may change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
These terms and conditions are the full terms of business related to TechDigital, and no variation, addition or cancellation in whole or part of this agreement shall be of any force, unless reduced to writing, and agreed on by both parties.
